Apocalyptek.com has been around for, oh, about eight years now, and over those years, a plethora (yes, a plethora, italics and all) of good, bad, lousy, and ...other musics and sound experiments have made their way onto the servers. Below are some of them. I hope at least some of you will poke throught this page from time, and I hope you get at least some small fraction of the amusement that I do from listening to these old tracks. I'm fond of every one, in some way or another, and if you share any fondness at all, I'd love to hear about it. Inquiries and multimillion-dollar recording contract proposals can go to adam_AT_apocalyptek.com. Listen at your own risk, and take my highly biased commentary at no greater than face value. -Laemeur All compositions and recordings copyright (c)2007 apocalyptek.com. BassiksAn underpowered laptop and a five-string bass can keep a feller amused for quite a long while. From mid 2004.
SketchesA couple goofy experiments, from early 2004.
MoteEidetixRecorded piecemeal in basements and on floors in Portland and Coeur d'Alene, this mini-album is a neat little sampling of the musical devices I repeatedly find myself returning to: sludgy slop-prog, dappled guitar improvs over synth patterns, and glassy, inclined, riff-ramps. Trust me, I know what that means. Finished early 2004.
