If you haven't checked out my comic, Brave Ulysses, which is competing at Zuda Comics this month, you should click one of those links and do that. If you have checked it out, you've probably noticed that it's sitting in the bottom half of the rankings. That's cool, though, because it gives me an opportunity to poke fun at my comic, and (more importantly) some of the criticisms it's suffering. The main joke here is, I guess, the absurdity of trying to appeal to the lowest common denominator. Y'know?
This is brush and pen on a 12x9" slice of some Pentalic paper that I'm not sure I'll use again for a comic like this. Good paper, just... doesn't really like to be worked over as much as I tend to work things over. Colors in Gimp and PSP. Why both? Well, because when one would crash/glitch on me a few times, I'd switch. Then when the other would crash/glitch on me, I'd switch. Etc., etc.
Oh, and that's not Ambush Bug. It's a race of aliens (totally not a registered trade-mark of DC comics) that just happen to look like Ambush Bug. For serious.
Please don't sue me.
