After the announcement of Zuda several weeks ago, I headed over to the DC Comics forums and started seeing what manner of weirdos were queueing for a chance to sorta work for sorta DC comics in the sorta web-only (with options for print) arena. The forums proved to be, like most places on the web, a simmering stinkhole. But, the optimist I am, I still head over there every now and again to see what stirrs at the edge of DC's immense buttock. -- cynical and mean-spirited sentence removed in lieu of my current status as a Zuda competitor --

Several days ago someone started a thread in which to post "teasers" of the webcomics they're working on for submission to Zuda, and it is in that spirit that the above cartoon was drawn. I, of course, have no planned submission for Zuda, and won't have until they post some sample contracts for we submitters to look at. And even then, I probably won't have anything to submit for quite a while...

...because I'm too busy horsing around on the internet.
